About the project:

Cozmo is an animated stop motion short film that tells the story of Mr. Brinco,
a successful businessman who sneaks into the house where he grew up – now for sale –
in search of something he left there a long time ago.

He will roam the different rooms of the house without luck, until
finally arriving at his old bedroom, where that what he thought was lost,
will find him in a magical and unexpected way.

About the team

Over the years we have forged professional bonds based on aesthetic affinity, camaraderie and above all admiration. Each specialist in this project is an outstanding exponent in his field of action and a vital part of a working group that has consolidated with each shared project, finding in Cozmo the opportunity to do something for the love of cinema, good stories and stop motion.

Among them:

Sergio Piñeyro is the reference for stop motion photography in Latin America. His joint experience with Javier Ignacio Luna Crook in the Santiago Bou’s multi-awarded short film Padre is more than guarantee of excellence and suitability.

Juleta Lacono and Julieta Lavalle are the local specialists in making models and miniatures. Their reputation precedes them.

Martin Canale is a – without exaggerating – a legend of physical and digital sculpture around the world, his accumulated experience both in the cinema and sideshow collectibles medium, makes him the perfect candidate to make our dolls.

Fer Calvi is not only an excellent illustrator, draftsman and graphic storyteller, but he is also the bearer of a particular image that gives our project the personal and distinctive imprint that such an intimate story demands.

Lucas Carracedo has accumulated experience in The Mill, one of the most important VFX studios in the world, working on films such as Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation and Terminator Genisys. He is above all, a versatile professional, capable of reducing resources and propose practical solutions to the challenges posed in post-production.
